MIGRATION – Stories from Banyule, curated by Lella Cariddi, carries fourteen extraordinary narratives by and about people from England, Italy, Greece, Malta, Poland and Slovenia.
 
The program includes:
  • Readings from the book MIGRATION – Stories from Banyule
  • Screening of short documentaries
  • Panel discussion led by Maria Vamvakinou MP: how the experiences of earlier generations of migrants can inform the integration of newly arrived immigrants and refugees.
 
This is the latest project of the “What Happened at the Pier” program, developed under the auspice of  Multicultural Arts Victoria.
